Eaton Corporation Mechanical Technician (LVA) in Arden, North Carolina
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Mechanical Technician (LVA). This position is onsite, 5 days a week M-F and located at our Arden NC Eaton facility.
As a Mechanical Technician you will use proprietary design program to make steel layouts or drawings involving new or existing standards, interpreting and working from design specifications, oral instruction or sketched concepts.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $52499.97 - $76999.96 a year.

What you’ll do:
In this role:
• Using 3D modeling software to develop motions(door swing), clearances and other involved features of any steel or customer equipment.
• Calculate fits, tolerances, strengths, weights, electrical, circuit parameters and similar items.
• Anticipate manufacturing and/or customer requirement and problems and develop design solutions.
• Coordinate the drafting work and be responsible for all drawings pertinent to design of customer order project.
• Consult with engineers on solutions relating to a design or customer order project.
• Consult with other departments as required to obtain or provide information..
• Checks work to assure conformance with standards are met.
• Ensure dead lines and schedules are met.
• Communicate any irregularities while working on an order.
• Must be able to work individually and on a team.
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
Associates of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in a Technical field from an accredited institution
Must have Educational OR hands on experience in Drafting and Design
No relocation is being offered for this role. You currently must live within a 50-mile radius of the Arden NC Eaton facility today. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field from an accredited institution
