Sr. Sustainability Specialist - Dairy FoodsThis newly created role will support to the need to fund, measure, track and report key activities that impact Land O'Lakes and customer sustainability goals.Be part of the Dairy Foods sustainability team leading the way in Sustainability Carbon Tracking and Reporting for Land O'Lakes and customers.Responsibilities include set-up of carbon emission tracking activities in alignment with developing Greenhouse Gas Protocols and delivering reports for individual customer project results.Support strategic partnerships thru the development of recommendations and presentations for Global Dairy Ingredients, Foodservice and Retail customer project interventions that demonstrate Land O'Lakes ability to support customer Sustainability goals thru Dairy Member/ Producer farm practice changes and internal Land O'Lakes activity.Identify best practices and use knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes. Requires solving complex problems where precedent may not exist.Support proposal development, design, and implementation of government-funded sustainability initiatives.Engage with internal cross-functional teams including Dairy Foods, Member Relations, Enterprise Supply Chain Sustainability, and Truterra as well as external industry partners to develop recommendations, proposals and reporting outcomes.Develop, track and report Dairy Foods sustainability budgets and contribute to completion of customer related surveys and requests.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience5 or more years of e xperience with financial, budgeting and/or scenario modeling - requiredPrevious experience with Sustainability strongly desired.Effective analytical, critical thinking and quantitative problem-solving skills.
