Boston Scientific Senior Material Program Manager in Arden Hills, Minnesota

About the Role: As part of the supplier engineering function, the Sr. Material Program Manager serves as thecentral facilitator between global sourcing and product development teams to drive supply chain development. In this project lead role, the incumbent will partner with cross-functional engineering and technology category teams to mitigate risks, develop and procure materials, while driving component production readiness for new and next generation products. Your responsibilities will include: Driving execution of supplier management projects, which includes delegating tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans Managing roadblocks that impact project success; identify solutions for resource allocation, changes in project requirements, and other potential issues Communicating updates on project deliverables; collaborate with category teams, customers and related stakeholders to address and resolve issues Facilitating efforts between project and category teams to drive component production readiness, cost reduction, and design for manufacturability Utilizing business knowledge and influence to drive tasks to completion and build technical expertise among cross-functional engineering teams to support future projects and programs Partnering with direct purchasing and project teams to procure required materials Identifying process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency for the materialprogram management team and support product life cycle process Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline with a minimum 5 years of engineering experience Project management experience with ability to create process flows and execute deliverables Preferred qualifications: Minimum 3 years of medical device industry experience Experience managing large-scale and complex projects involving multiple functions and sites Ability to navigate ambiguous situations with strong conflict management and resolution skills Strong leadership skills with ability to influence change and drive performance cross-functionally Ability to communicate effectively with individuals on all levels (written and verbally) Results-oriented with strong organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities effectively Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; analytical and process-driven Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships Requisition ID:577485 Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substancetesting requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
