Production Control Assistant
Archbald, PA
Contract Position

Responsibilities:
- Hardware representative type role, predominately focused on working on the shop floor.
- Understanding company flow within work centers on the shop floor and production.
- Responsible for releasing work orders, prioritizing and expediting work through the shop, which will require a lot of coordination and communication with multiple functions.
- Responsible for understanding capacity and will monitor and provide insight into key performance indicators such as on time starts, aging or idle work orders, etc.
- Sort, post, and file such paperwork as inventory records, production schedules, and other production control data.
- Keep records of number of units shipped and number of jobs in production.
- Status and expedite work orders through manufacturing facility.
- May prepare shop orders indicating such factors as style, size, quantity, and priority.
- May review stock records, consumption figures, and detail schedules to determine stock status against program requirements.
- May prepare input forms for automated data processing system and may operate personal computer equipment.
- Perform other clerical tasks relating to duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP software
- Attention to detail and organization
