Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Staff - Public in Arcadia, California. This role is within the accounting industry and will involve direct interaction with clients, auditing non-profit organizations, and managing accounts. The workplace is client-oriented and involves face-to-face visits.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and prepare client taxes
• Manage customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Conduct audits for non-profit organizations, particularly foster care and adoption centers, to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Utilize accounting software systems such as Lacerte and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Perform accounting functions and prepare financial statements
• Handle entity formation tasks and ensure compliance with relevant laws
• Utilize CaseWare for auditing and accounting tasks
• Handle face-to-face client visits and manage relationships with small company clients.
Requirements
3 Plus years of experience in tax accounting
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
CPA in Process or CPA desired
Auditing experience desired
Non-profit experience a plus
