Robert Half Lead Medical Insurance Collector in Arcadia, California
Description
A Regional Medical Facility is in need of a Lead/Supervisor Medical Insurance Collector for its Hospital locations. The Lead Medical Insurance Collector will involve ensuring that all aspects of medical insurance collections, patient billing, and claim resolution are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and coordinate the medical insurance collection activities.
· Review and analyze patient accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Contact insurance companies to resolve claim denials, zero payments, and underpayments.
· Interact with patients regarding their bills, insurance claims and payments.
· Supervise the process of billing and collection.
· Train and guide staff on medical billing practices.
· Develop strategies for improving collection processes.
· Maintain compliance with all necessary regulations.
· Generate and present reports regarding the collection activities.
· Must have Hospital UB04 experience.
