The Colorado Department of Military & Veterans Affairs (DMVA) has three major operational divisions: Army and Air National Guard, Civil Air Patrol, and Veterans Affairs. These divisions utilize state and federal resources to provide our communities, state, and nation with a ready military force for national defense and state emergency response as well as providing assistance to our Colorado Veterans.

Description of Job

This position is located at our Joint Forces Headquarters in Centennial. Duties include:

  • tracking work orders;

  • managing work orders to completion;

  • budgeting and appropriating dollars and tracking repairs and inventory;

  • coordinating private contractors;

  • analyzing formulating, and submitting the maintenance budget;

  • balancing necessity and cost to determine appropriate supplies to ensure budgets are on track, adjusting priorities and expenditures as needed;

  • creating and signing various professional communication;

  • serving as the point of contact for outside entities in numerous areas;

  • performing work on a variety of software programs; and

  • planning, arranging, and coordinating internal and external meetings and trainings.

Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights

Education and Experience:

Three years of general clerical experience which included

  • creation of spreadsheets;

  • managing, creating, and updating database systems;

  • developing and tracking a budget.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with Sharepoint experience.
