VF Corporation Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst in Appleton, Wisconsin

This position is responsible for high level financial reporting to senior finance management and to various external entities in accordance with required accounting standards and regulations. This position is assigned to a combination of internal and external reporting and analysis responsibilities and financial accounting projects. Also assists with monthly forecast, annual budget process and the 5 year strategic plan process for the brand.
Responsible for month end closing by preparing and entering closing journal entries
Analyze month end results and consolidate variance explanations
Prepare, coordinate and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated reporting package to internal management and VF corporate; assist in preparation of quarterly reporting presentations to VF Corporate.
Prepare account reconciliations of assigned accounts for the Coalition and prepare analysis and reporting on all reconciled accounts
Assist with monthly forecast, annual budget process and the 5-year strategic plan process
Manage special projects and ad hoc reporting
3- 5 years’ experience in Financial Analyst/Accounting position
BS/BA in Accounting and/or Finance
Advanced Excel and PC skills; SAP experience preferred
CPA or CMA license preferred
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skill- oral, written and presentation
Excellent organizational skills
High level of integrity
Desirable attributes include a consistent ability to set and accomplish goals; strong work ethic; demonstrated competency; ability to handle and resolve to completion, complex issues
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Stamina able to be maintained to manage a work level that may exceed 40 hours per week
