Position Purpose: Responsible for developing contacts of existing and potential customers through indirect solicitation utilizing a variety of sources such as directories, trade magazines and or tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn to establish early stage marketing campaigns and for the purpose of offering selected services within a geographical area. Primary Duties/responsibilities: * Develop potential customers through selected target accounts and prospect listings developed by sales personnel and researching a variety of trade magazines and using tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn to establish early stage marketing campaigns. * Prepare weekly telephone solicitation reports, sales reports, and direct mail activity reports and routes to immediate supervisor for review and analysis. * Responsible for maintaining existing and potential revenues for a specific territory and/or groups of assigned customers by offering existing and new available services * Assist customers with a basic understanding of various state and local governmental regulations pertaining to generation, storage, transportation and disposal of generated waste. * Assist customers with contract approval and EPA number procurement process as well as providing resolution to problems and/or complaints in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures. * Develop and maintain a team approach to selling services to national jobbers and outside sales force. * Perform other duties of a clerical nature as assigned or directed by immediate supervisor. Qualifications Education / Experience / Background: * High School Diploma or GED required * Prior work experience of 6 months to 1 years in a related position preferred * Degree in technical field preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong team player * Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines * Strong customer orientation * Ability to effectively present information * Ability to create & prepare reports as necessary Additional Information We are an Equal Opportunity Employer!
