CITY OF APPLETON Enterprise Account Manager in APPLETON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Valley Transit is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Accounting Manager. This critical role is responsible for financial reporting, account analysis, and supporting the daily financial functions of Valley Transit. The Financial Accounting Manager will assist the General Manager with accounting, auditing, report preparation, and compliance with federal and state requirements. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and possess strong leadership skills. The Ideal Candidate will have: o At least four to five years of accounting experience, ideally in a public utility or municipal government setting. o Ability to work independently with high initiative and attention to detail. o Strong knowledge of governmental accounting standards and generally accepted accounting principles. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications Requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field, with a minimum of four to five years of experience in accounting (preferably in a public transit or municipal setting).
