City of Apple Valley is seeking a Utilities Maintenance Worker I or II in the Utilities Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department. General Duties: Installation and repair of water meters; maintenance and flushing of hydrants; operation and maintenance of water treatment plant; manual and equipment excavation; responding to customers; maintenance of sanitary and storm sewer systems; equipment operation and maintenance. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM; must be available for call-back, on-call duty, and schedule changes. Pay Range: Maintenance Worker I: $25.45 $34.10/hour; Maintenance Worker II: $28.70 $37.35/hour. Plus group benefits package. Starting position level (I or II) and pay rate dependent on qualifications.
