ManpowerGroup Electrical Construction Site Foreman or Coordinator in Apple Grove, West Virginia
Manpower Engineering is looking for an electrical focused Construction Site Foreman or Site Coordinator for our Apple Grove, WV client. Long-term contract role, anticipated duration is around 2-3 years.
What you’ll be doing:
Will be acting as Owner’s Rep
Work closely with Electrical Supervisor, Project Managers and Site General Manager/VP. Assist in coordination with other trades (mechanical, structural, piping, civil) to maintain a safe, efficient installation
Work with contractors, planners and schedulers to identify conflicts before they occur and assist them to resolve. Review contractor progress regarding productivity and schedule to validate contractor reports.
Assist in evaluations of constructability and technical reviews.
Solving problems in the field to keep project moving forward or redirecting the questions as needed to the appropriate teammates. Create action items to be submitted for approval for any decisions affecting budget change orders or schedule implications.
Attend planning and scheduling meetings as necessary.
Assist with answering RFIs and resolving quality issues.
Assist with and support construction materials management, including interfacing with logistics team.
Will be working 50-60 hours/week.
Anticipated to be a multi-year project (can transition to other sites across US when finished, depending on needs).
Who are we looking for:
A degree is not required but is preferable when dealing with constructability and field adjustment discussions.
Looking for individuals with the technical experience to be able to evaluate drawings from a constructability standpoint
Be the interface between contractors and company’s team to evaluate recommended field adjustments by contractors and propose directions to take to company’s team.
Experience with all aspects of electrical construction, from high voltage to instrumentation.
Ability to review drawings in Autodesk Navisworks is helpful
Experience budgeting resources and time, working with drawings & BOMs.
Construction site safety experience (industrial construction).
