Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This position operates from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and involves detailed inspection and testing of cables, harnesses, and various metal products. The ideal candidate will provide feedback to vendors and internal teams, maintain accurate inspection documentation, and perform light electrical/mechanical rework. Travel to vendor sites and other locations may be required.
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections of cables, harnesses, and various metal products according to released drawings.
Perform electrical tests on harnesses and cables.
Provide feedback to vendors and internal teams regarding cable, harness, and metal issues.
Meet daily inspection requirements according to the released schedule.
Maintain and accurately record inspection documentation.
Create and release Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
Perform light electrical and mechanical rework of harnesses, cables, and metal products.
Travel to vendor sites and other locations as necessary.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Familiarity with general labor, assembly, production, and quality check processes.
Strong understanding of electrical, harness, mechanical, and cable diagnostics.
Attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Knowledge of IPC620 standards is beneficial.
Ability to use a tape measure, micrometer, and gauges.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
