The Sr. Financial Analyst is a critical role in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The Sr. Financial Analyst will serve as a key member of the Finance department with significant and will have frequent exposure to senior management and various groups across the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial business partner for key operational stakeholders in General Construction/Engineering, and IT (support adhoc analyses, special projects, etc.)
Drive the rolling forecast, annual budgeting, and long-term forecasting analytics activities for a targeted segment on behalf of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function in Finance.
Lead efforts to capture forecasting assumptions and leverage them to produce short and long range financial projections the capital plan and IT department requirements
Champion the budget and forecast development of depreciation projections for the large portfolio of fixed assets within the business
Drive and support system enhancements and testing in financial planning platforms (i.e. Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, other)
Drive and develop reporting enhancements within different reporting platforms (i.e. Power BI, Hyperion, other)
Prepare various monthly actual vs. budget (vs. forecast) reports and produce variance analyses for assigned departments; effectively communicating key takeaways
Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics for targeted department
Identify risks, opportunities, and other areas to improve business results
Update and roll-forward tools and templates that support capital planning processes.
Performs other duties and adhoc analytics as assigned
OTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop business partner relationship with assigned operational leader(s) within targeted department(s)
Support the process of updating and/or enhance reporting templates and tools to capture critical financial assumptions
Participate in user testing to deploy system enhancements across key financial planning platforms
Monitor macro-economic trends in capital markets to produce interest rate projections for debt, produce capital interest impact projections based on capex requirements
Partner with accounting teams to capture property tax liability projections
Site / Location Level performance reporting development and maintenance (as needed)
Performs other duties and adhoc analytics as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Extensive knowledge of GAAP
Extensive experience in managing or monitoring capital expenditures and clear understanding of how depreciation works
Ability to communicate complex Financial/Accounting terminology and capture key requirements from financial and non-financial personnel
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Extensive demonstrable financial modeling and report development experience
Proficient in championing analytics assignments and capturing key takeaways with minimal supervision
Experience in managing budget related requirements within a formal planning platform (Hyperion, SAP, etc.) required; Experience in working within Hyperion/Smartview platform preferred
Experience in leveraging reporting output tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, others required
Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel required (must be able to use lookups, pivot tables, and other advanced functionality)
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word)
Able to work in a team environment.
Manages stress and/or fast-pace effectively.
Able to adapt effectively to changing priorities

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BS/BA degree in accounting or finance
MBA Preferred
CFA Preferred
8-10 years of relevant high-level Financial Planning and Analysis experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
Close visual work on a computer terminal.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
This position is expected to be remote for the foreseeable future with an occasional need to be onsite in a shared work environment.
Travel may be required.
Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license.
This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $ 88,000 - $ 126,000.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
