The Project Manager will perform an integral cross-functional role within NTT Global Data Centers, Americas. The position will play a role with the Rhythm of Business by ensuring meeting requirements are met, materials are prepared, and Key Performance Indicators are tracked by Departments with guidance of the Sr. Project Manager. This role requires skills in project management methodologies, processes, and industry standard tools; and experience with stakeholder (internal and external) interaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with the Rhythm of Business by participating in meeting cadences, creating content, and ensuring all materials are prepared for goals of the team

  • Responsible for tracking projects through the corporate interlock process, which oversees the product life cycle of the datacenter. This includes tracking progress in go-to-market activity, due diligence, master planning, design and construction, inventory release and client build-out for the business.

  • Responsible for creating, updating, tracking trends, and providing feedback on internal and external reporting material on key performance indicators tracking business health to ensure annual goals are met.

  • Works on corporate projects sponsored by NTT Global Data Centers Americas senior leaders, responsible for proper project scoping, committals, and delivery time frames. Responsible for successful completion and closeout of all assigned projects.

  • Assists or may own the preparation of documents and publishing meeting agendas, presentation slide decks and associated minutes, along with maintaining and ensuring accomplishment of rolling action items list.

  • Uses Microsoft Project and other standard tools to document, schedule, track, and report on the various projects.

  • Follows up effectively with all levels of the organization; reports progress through the project management office and proactively escalates issues and risks that require executive attention.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external collaborators and stakeholders across all geographical regions. Interfaces with vendors as necessary.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills required with the ability to distill complicated reporting into short, cadenced executive communication.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a global, distributed environment. Ability to relate well at all levels of the organization and maintain collaborative relationships.

  • Strong sense of results ownership and accountability with the ability to generate executive external reporting under demanding deadlines.

  • Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or computer science.

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ industry experience in project management; experience with product lifecycles preferred.

  • PMP certification preferred but may be offset with additional project management related experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.

  • Able to hear and speak into a telephone.

  • Close visual work on a computer terminal.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.

  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Standard office environment.

  • Extensive daily computer use.

  • Required to carry a cell phone; must be reachable by phone during off hours.

  • This role is expected to be remote with an occasional need to be on-site in a shared space.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Some travel, up to 20%, of the time if working remotely.

  • Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver’s license.

  • Must be willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, late nights, holidays.

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $89,600 - $128,200

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
