State of Minnesota Primary Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Anoka, Minnesota
The Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center (AMRTC) is looking to hire a dynamic Primary Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to provide primary health care which includes health histories, physical examinations, analyzing laboratory findings, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans. As the Primary Care APRN you will also provide direction and information to patient’s families, unit staff, department heads, support services, community agencies, and administration. Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center serve people who are mentally-ill in a large, campus based setting. It is a 110-bed psychiatric hospital, divided into 25-bed units. Referrals must meet admission criteria and are prescreened by Central Pre-Admissions professional staff.
- Graduation from a program of study designed to prepare the individual for advanced practice as a nurse practitioner in family practice or internal medicine;
- Certification with a national professional nursing organization as a nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist;
- Minnesota licensure and current registration as a registered nurse;
- Authorization from the Minnesota Board of Nursing to prescribe drugs and therapeutic devices.
