Shift Availability: First Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM / 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM | $19.00/hr Second Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM / 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or Tuesday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM | $21.25/hr As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for various tasks including receiving, verifying, locating, storing, issuing, and transporting materials used in the manufacturing process. Predominantly utilizing Stand-Up forklifts, you'll pull boxes from shelves, operate RF Scanners, and load/unload pallets and trucks. Safety and performance are key, with opportunities to work with other heavy equipment like high reach and pallet jacks. Essential Functions: Maintain compliance with safety procedures, keep work areas clean and organized, and promptly report any issues to Team Leaders. Perform material handling tasks within performance guidelines, conduct equipment safety checks, and ensure adequate equipment and material supplies. Meet performance standards, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement activities. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of production work experience, including stand-up forklift operation. Proficiency with RF scanners, software, and computer skills (Windows Word, Excel, Outlook, JD Edwards, Internet). Knowledge of material flow processes, safety policies, and procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Adaptability to changing business circumstances, ability to work in high-stress environments, and lift up to 50 pounds.
