BAE Systems Operations Supervisor II in Anniston, Alabama

Job Description

BAE SYSTEMS is Seeking an Operations Supervisor for our Anniston, AL location that will be responsible for driving the planning process for operations by overseeing and managing manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning, organizing and coordinating budgets.

  • Evaluating activities of the Operations Department process, including but not limited to warehouse functions, manufacturing, build and deliver , construct structures, components, etc.

  • Achieves performance objectives for quality, schedules, productivity, safety/housekeeping, employee relations, and total cost responsibilities with budget accountability.

  • Supports activities for continuous improvement for cost, quality, schedule, safety, etc.

  • Develops the workforce and a team-oriented culture.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) 5 years of experience working in a heavy manufacturing environment.

  • 2 years of experience leading teams and overseeing a multi-functional Operations Department that includes warehouse and manufacturing functions.

  • Strong understanding of Safety and OSHA standards.

  • Experience providing guidance and training to staff, as well as disciplinary actions.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience working in a Union environment.

  • Knowledge of vehicle paint systems and processes

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
