Jovian Concepts, Inc. System Administrator 2 in Annapolis Junction, Maryland
Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire a System Administrator Level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area. TS/SCI Clearance with a Poly required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
Experience required to support the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Experience with Container Technology: Administering large software deployments on LINUX/UNIX systems, administering clustered storage solutions (e.g. storage appliances, Ceph), Kubernetes orchestrated containers, system configuration management software (e.g. Puppet, Ansible) and change control.
Experience with configuring and managing UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Requirements
A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph is required to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
10 years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
