Software Engineer II

Candidate must have an active TS/SCI w/Poly

Key Tasks:

DCCA is hiring a cleared Software Engineer II for a contract in the Annapolis Junction/Fort Meade area, supporting the DoD/Intelligence Community!

Required Skills:

  • We are looking for team members who are highly motivated to support the national security mission and interested in being part of a growing organization

  • Desire to learn new techniques or use a new tool, or strengthen an existing skillset

  • Work as part of a team, or even lead a team of other engineers

  • Provide and implement recommendations for complex software projects

  • Analyze user requirements

  • Debugging existing software, testing, and system documentation

    A majority of positions fall within the following experience guidelines:

  • 14+ years relevant experience and Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of degree, 18 years of experience

    Desired Skills:

    Experience working in an Agile development team/environment, conducting sprint planning, etc.

  • Cloud technology and/or certifications

  • Experience as a software team lead

  • Big data

  • Analytics

  • CNO

  • Security

  • DevOps

    Required Education / Certifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
