Lockheed Martin Senior Systems Engineer - Clearance Required in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

TKO provides systems engineering, software development, data science and cloud development and engineering services to the Cyber Infrastructure Solutions customer. The services enable the Data Transformation, Malware Analysis, and Cyber Threat Intelligence processing and sharing capabilities for the customer, fulfilling mission objectives and offering actionable information to detect and mitigate cyber threats. The contract has several locations in Maryland and a small contingent in Texas.

The TKO program is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong Scrum and project management skills to provide the engineering and project management for end-to-end data flows in support of the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps and schedules for implementing end-to-end data flows, including transformation into a standard data model. The individual will form good customer relationships and reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users. They will have a good understanding of the customer data flow architecture. They will work as a key contributor in a SAFe agile development environment.

Skills:

• Familiar with SAFe Agile/Scrum ceremonies, iterative improvement and stepwise refinement

• Familiarity with AWS configurations and services

• Good working skills with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira

• Understands system-to-system connections for data flow processes

• Familiar with the sequence of development tasks with designing, developing, testing, scanning and deploying software

• Able to appropriately task team members based on priorities provided by leadership

• Capable of aligning sprint priorities with the roadmap projections and goals

• Able to work with the customer to recommend priorities based on team load, abilities, mission goals, requirements and deadlines

Basic Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications :

• A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience

OR

• A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

• A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.

OR

• A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.

Required Skills:

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
