Amentum Construction Project Manager in Annapolis Junction, Maryland
Oversees a wide variety of projects, including the building of all types of commercial, residential, and industrial structures. Plans, coordinates, budgets, and oversees construction projects from early development to completion. Works closely with other building/construction specialists, such as architects, engineers, and a variety of trade workers, such as stonemasons, electricians, and carpenters. Prepares and negotiates cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables. Selects appropriate construction methods and strategies. Reports on work progress and budget matters to clients. Instructs and supervises construction personnel and activities onsite. Responds to work delays and other problems and emergencies. Ensures compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations. Schedules and coordinates all design and construction processes to ensure a productive and safe work environment. May be responsible for obtaining necessary permits and licenses. Projects may require specialists in everything from structural metalworking and painting, to landscaping, building roads, installing carpets, and excavating sites.
12+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 8+ years relevant experience with Masters degree
Good understanding of project management process – Minimum 10 years’ experience
Able to travel OCONUS for projects and support
This could be 2 weeks to 6 months
Construction Background
Preferred – USACE background
Preferred - TS Clearance
Preferred – CQM Certification
Preferred – PMP Certification
