Job Title: Shipping and Receiving ClerkJob Description
Lead communication to frame plants and AEP AE lines on shipment statuses, asset shortages, and all other issues that could impact production. This critical function ensures 100% on-time shipping to customer plants and promotes a One Team approach to communication and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the shipping of engines and component parts to customer plants.
Serve as the logistics lead for assigned frame plants, both domestic and international.
Work directly with the Production Control buyer.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Engine Assembly Department, Frame Plants, Corporate IS, Production Control, Logistics, and Consolidation Center departments.
Lead and manage external carriers on delivery destinations to ensure timely delivery to frame plants.
Coordinate pallet asset returns to AEP to prevent production line downtime.
Create and issue shipping documents for all domestic and international shipments.
Create customs clearance invoices and coordinate new model part shipping to international destinations.
Ensure all documents comply with Trade Compliance Regulations, including making HazMat declarations for international shipping.
Manage critical ship times, engine repairs, and return packaging engine pallets to avoid impacts on upstream or downstream customers.
Lead plans of action, decision-making, and communication with frame plants, carriers, AE leadership, and SCO leadership.
Be available outside of normal work hours/on-call situations to provide quick solutions to customer plants as logistics issues arise.
Evaluate and escalate critical issues to management to ensure appropriate allocation of resources in a timely manner.
Develop root cause analyses to prevent future repeat issues.
Essential Skills
Experience in logistics, customer service, data entry, inventory, transportation, supply chain, third-party logistics, shipping and receiving.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
2 years of relevant experience in supply chain logistics or related field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a relevant education field preferred, or equivalent experience required.
Strong communication skills.

Work Environment
Open office environment. Some travel may be required. The position involves a shift from 4:30 pm - 1:30 am. Long-term opportunity with potential to be hired on directly, with PTO/Holiday Pay and benefits.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00
