Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Equipment Technician who will execute all aspects of operation, repair, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, adjustments, rebuilding, and modifications to ensure proper operation and maximum uptime of various types of processing equipment with minimal supervision. The Equipment Technician will assist Engineering in commissioning new fabrication equipment and utilize various test and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair systems. The Equipment Technician will also maintain necessary records, reports, written and verbal pass downs, and manage parts inventory and reordering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Execute operation, repair, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, adjustments, rebuilding, and modifications of processing equipment.

  • Utilize various test and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair systems.

  • Maintain necessary records, reports, written and verbal pass downs, and parts inventory, including reordering parts.

  • Lead or assist in the investigation and resolution of equipment-related process problems.

  • Assist Engineering in the commissioning of new fabrication equipment.

  • Work in a clean room environment, adhering to clean room garment protocols.

  • Demonstrate self-starter capabilities, independently learning and managing time by priorities.

  • Communicate day-to-day events, direction, and repairs both written and verbally, through logs and pass downs.

  • Adapt to changing environments while working cooperatively with others to meet common goals and objectives in support of production and engineering.

  • Be customer-oriented and maintain a positive and cooperative manner.

  • Proactively drive safe practices within the factory, supporting and following site safety policies.

  • Operate within all EH&S, federal, and state regulations to ensure environmental, health, and safety guidelines are followed and maintained.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, standard operating procedures, quality system regulations, and good manufacturing practices associated with semiconductor clean room and manufacturing spaces.

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the acid waste neutralization system.

  • Assist the facility team with hazardous waste management, projects, and tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a semiconductor or clean room environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.

  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

  • Ability to work additional hours off normal shift schedule as required to support business needs, hard downs, and site shutdowns.

  • Ability to provide emergency on-call response.

  • Shift: Full-time, day Monday through Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm).
