Reporting to GAF’s StreetBond General Manager, the Director of Marketing for the StreetBond business is a hands-on management role responsible for devising and implementing new marketing programs in support of business objectives. As such, s/he will provide support for the emerging business initiatives and will help manage and measure the go-to-market strategies and facilitate the advancement of the change agenda. As the first marketing leader of this organization, the Director of Marketing is expected to design and build the marketing capabilities foundation upon which the General Manager may determine the Go-To-Market tactics and enable revenue growth that will help drive the entire business.
⦁ Craft brand and creative strategy
⦁ Coordinate programmatic efforts across GAF areas (marketing, events, communications, CSR) to ensure marketing decisions are consistent with the overall strategy and elevate to the GM when appropriate
Business Development & Growth Innovation
⦁ Design and manage all marketing campaigns, with responsibility for collateral; internal & external communications; and digital marketing (both SEM and social media areas)
⦁ Collaborate with agency partners and drive conception and execution of marketing initiatives
⦁ Identify opportunities, plan, and coordinate all events, including: community events; conferences; trade shows (as exhibitor or attendee); and team offsites
⦁ Collaborate with sales, customer success, programs, and product development to identify, craft, and iterate on key messages for target audiences
⦁ Regularly report updates to the General Manager regarding progress on strategic priorities, and drive collaboration where necessary to accelerate progress
⦁ Support the GM’s external efforts as the spokesperson and champion for the StreetBond business line

⦁ Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing
⦁ Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience with B2B or B2B2C marketing
⦁ Minimum of 2 years of experience at the marketing manager/director level
⦁ Minimum of 2 years of meaningful agency coordination and project management
⦁ Proven track record of running successful projects at scale and supporting the building of successful products and high caliber teams from the ground up
⦁ Experience in managing corporate stakeholders to keep regular updates on business performance and progress
⦁ Ability to develop, communicate, and persuade stakeholders even in the face of extreme skepticism, risk, and uncertainty

Budget Responsibility: $1.3M budget for agency work and campaigns
Travel Requirements: Expected 10%
Location: Remote with preference for NY/NJ metro
