About the Role
The Associate Sales Executive in our Tax & Accounting Professionals Small-Mid client segment is responsible for retaining and growing their existing account base and acquiring new accounts within their geographic area of responsibility. Their territory consists of customers and prospects with 1-30 professionals. The Sales Executive position is a virtual role, requiring excellent telephone and writing skills.
Attain sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis
Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer
Obtain and provide territory information regarding market intelligence and penetration
Confer with and assist in customer-related issues as needed to maintain good customer relations
Complete weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner
Drives strategic initiatives supported by assigned account team consisting of Sales Development Representative, Account Development Representative and Solutions Consultants to drive growth in assigned territory
Leverage sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce)
Attend sales meetings and conventions as required
About You:
Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in an Account Executive role with proven/consistent track record of quota attainment
Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience a plus, but not required
Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques
Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations
Strong prospecting and closing skills
Ability to win new customers as well as cross sell/upsell existing customers
Strong time management and organization skills
Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred) and overall technical aptitude
Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude
High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethic
Located near one of our three hubs: Ann Arbor, MI; Eagan, MN; Frisco, TX, with the ability to work a hybrid structure, traveling to the office at least 2x/week.
