Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our manufacturing team located in ANN ARBOR, Michigan. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and involves the use of various accounting software systems. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for handling numerous accounting functions and providing support for our financial services.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilize accounting software systems to process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain and update customer credit records in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Handle the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Use systems such as ADP and Ceridian to manage financial services and facilitate the auditing process.

• Implement and manage automated workflows for efficient operation.

• Conduct billing functions and manage Form 1099 processes.

• Handle cash applications and collections as required by the company.

• Employ MS Great Plains Accounting software for various accounting tasks and processes.

• Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and other financial reports.

• Participate in the implementation and use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for better resource management. Requirements • Must possess a deep understanding of Accounting Software Systems

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required

• Experience with Ceridian and Concur systems is necessary

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is needed

• Candidates should be experienced in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Auditing skills are a must

• Proficiency in Billing Functions is necessary

• Familiarity with Form 1099 is required

• Should be able to handle Cash Applications

• Experience in Collections is necessary

• Knowledge of MS Great Plains Accounting is required

• Ability to generate Cash Flow Forecasts is a must

• Experience with Automation workflows is necessary
