This role is hybrid with on-site expectations in Ann Arbor, MI. May require work during early mornings, nights, or weekends. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Purpose:
As an Academic Advisor in our Office of Undergraduate Programs, you will support students from orientation to graduation by providing guidance on academic and personal goals. You will inform students on policies, requirements and resources that support their growth. You will report to the Academic Advising Director.

Responsibilities*
Advise BBA and Business Minor students on class selection, planning, and decisions related to educational and career goals.
Coach students in skills related to academic success, and advise on decisions regarding the addition of minors and dual degrees to students' academic plans.
Assist and serve as a contact for students with unanticipated emergency situations, communicating with students, faculty, and other University units to provide students with support and appropriate resources.
You will work with the Advising Team to organize and facilitate workshops and events to support students' academic success.
Coordinate communications and programming for BBA students to distribute information and communicate resources to students.
Provide one-on-one counseling to students pursuing the Business Minor. Advise on minor curriculum and requirements, course planning and policies.
Help promote prospective minor student events and presentations.
Assist Ross Registrar's team in the final degree audit verification process for BBA students.
Process Business Minor declarations and releases.
Counsel students in Academic Success programs.
Coordinate communications on minor requirements and completion with advisors across campus.
Assist with new projects, including publications and website maintenance.
Represent the school at events and conferences.
Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's Degree.
2+ years of related experience is required or equivalent of education and work experience.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
You are interested in learning new functions and applications.
You have a DEI mindset.
Demonstrated experience coaching and advising, or related experience.
Additional Information
The general posting range for this position is $53,000 - $59,000. You can expect to be paid a great compensation package. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor agreement and transparency throughout the recruiting process. Selected candidates whose start date is after April1st will be eligible for the annual salary program in September 2025.
