The HR Operations Officer (payroll) will support the HR Operations team by administer the daily HR tasks such as keeping employee record, processing payroll and manage labor and insurance matters.
Main responsibilities:
Act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries
Maintain employee records in the local system
Entry and monitor employee attendance / personnel leaves and update accordingly the leave database
Manage employment relations (such as hiring, contract renewals for fix-term contracts and changes of position/salaries etc.) by preparing the properly documentations and inform the labor authorities
Participate in monthly payroll calculations & submit forms to public authorities (Ergani, DYPA, EFKA)
Ensure compliance with Greek Employment Law, payroll tax obligations, and internal policies in payroll calculations
Create employment certificates & be responsible for payslips distribution
Handling employees benefits (such as administer the company's medical plan program, ticket restaurants etc.)
Collaborate effectively with our Shared Services team to ensure flawless and on-time execution of all HR Operational activities
Participate in various HR projects related to local/global operations
Τοcomply with health,safety and environmental rules in accordance with company's policy and prescribed procedures
Required Qualifications:
University degree in Economics or Business Administration related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
Strong understanding of employment legislation and procedures
Familiarity with timekeeping systems and payroll compliance requirements
Proficient in using the Ergani system & Knowledge of the Digital Access Card rules
Proven strong employment relations experience in a big company
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, mainly Excel
Experience with SCAN HRMS will be considered as a plus
Fluent in Greek & English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations, including social security contributions, taxes, and employee protection laws
