Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Angus, MN. From: 02/20/2025 - 11/21/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops wheat & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. Haul materials, supplies or crops to designated locations. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after given instructions and must be a team player when needed. All work-related tools, supplies and equipment provided by the employer at no cost to worker. Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only. NO TEXTING. No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing, or grounds. No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have Three (3) months of tractor-driving skills with installed with GPS and towed implements. Able to operate/understand GPS with computerized monitors. Must have or be able to obtain Driver's License (Class D) within 30 days of hire. Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
