Description

Lindsey McCarthy with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in Angola, New York. As an HR Generalist, you will be delivering human resources services and conducting analytical tasks in a high-energy environment. The role involves managing complex information, developing effective HR solutions, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of employment laws.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering HR services and administering programs efficiently

• Managing and resolving complex HR-related issues in a collaborative setting

• Utilizing customer service skills to gather feedback and foster relationships for effective HR solutions

• Applying conflict resolution and active listening skills to address sensitive matters with utmost discretion

• Staying updated on federal, state, and local employment laws including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA

• Preparing and presenting both narrative and statistical reports with a results-oriented approach

• Utilizing communication skills to interact with diverse individuals and teams

• Demonstrating proficiency in Benefit Functions, Compliance, Employee Relations, and FMLA

• Exhibiting familiarity with UltiPro HRIS for HR-related tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Benefit Functions, including the administration of benefits and compensation programs as well as other Human Resources recognition and engagement programs.

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and/or outside contacts.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Compliance, with an ability to manage and implement HR policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.

• Strong experience in Employee Relations, including managing and resolving complex employee relations issues. Conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

• Expertise in Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.

• Proficiency in using UltiPro HRIS for data entry, reporting, and process improvement.
