Raytheon Technologies Quality Program Lead in Andover, Massachusetts
Job Description:
As a Quality Program Lead you will work within the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) Launcher Integrated Product Team (IPT) representing the customers' best interests assuring product quality. The selected applicant will report to the MRAD Quality Manager and be responsible for the interpretation of contractual requirements and application of Quality Sciences.
This position requires strong interpersonal skills that will be used to present critical issues to leadership and influence cross functional groups. The selected candidate will drive business improvements using Raytheon Missile & Defense (RMD) Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
Tasks include, but may not be limited to the following:
Build and maintain beneficial relationships with IPT and functional peers
Drive critical issues to closure on a daily basis working with suppliers, customers, and other functional teams
Lead process improvements using RMD Six Sigma
Required Skills:
8 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline
Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action implementation
High computer literacy and proficiency working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Desired Skills:
Ability to lead in a team-based manufacturing environment and make decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to apply forward looking critical thinking in a risk and opportunity framework
Experienced in writing, approving and executing Statements of Work (SOW)
Able to write, interpret and execute policies and procedures including recommending modifications to operating policies
Demonstrated ability to understand drawings, work instructions, Bills of Material (BOMs), and process disciplines
Ability to read, comprehend and communicate technical data
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Required Education (including Major):
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
