What you’ll do:
Norris Academy is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment program (PRTF) that serves youth between the ages of 5 and 17 with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other emotional and behavioral disorders and developmental delays.
We are looking for a qualified BCBA or BCaBA to join our clinical team and help support the needs of these amazing children and adolescents!
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) serves in a variety of roles to ensure fidelity to the ABA model in our clinical interventions and therapeutic milieu. For example, they will conduct functional behavior assessments and other identified assessments to aid in the development of Behavior Support Plans. The BCBA/BCaBA will work with assigned staff including therapists, registered behavior technicians, and behavior coaches to implement and teach direct care staff how to implement behavior observation systems and behavior support plans in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment program (PRTF). This individual will be a core part of our clinical team and provide leadership and guidance to ensure that appropriate behavioral interventions are being structured and implemented in a person-centered way to meet individual needs.

Required Skills:
Master's Degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field.
Certified as BCABA or BCBA, or eligible for certification
Licensure in TN or ability to be licensed
2 years of experience minimum working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Support Plans.
Training and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Must be able to collect, organize and present data/information clearly, utilize effective communication skills, train and direct staff, display strong clinical skills, and have a working knowledge of licensing/accrediting agency standards.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, delegate, coordinate, and provide all needed follow-up.
Applicant must be 21 years of age prior to employment.
To be considered, you should:
Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
Be master’s level mental health professionals and maintain current BBS or Board of Psychology waiver, registration or licensure, or Intern.
Have one year of prior experience working in a residential setting for children/NMD, their families and/or the Juvenile Justice/Child Welfare System.
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
