Insight Global Construction Field Technician in Anchorage, Alaska

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Field to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to various project locations to oversee and verify the installation and functionality of AC/DC plants, M&C systems, and other critical infrastructure. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to ensure that all projects meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Skills and Requirements

Travel to project sites during turnups/builds (80-90% travel).

Test functionalities of AC/DC plants to ensure proper operation.

Test functionalities of Monitoring & Control (M&C) systems for visibility and alarming functions.

Verify that projects/sites being turned over to Operations are built to standard, including installations of cabling, RF equipment, and facility equipment per design specifications.

Evaluate construction drawings, Installation Packages (IPAKs), and RF designs, providing signoff as needed.

Conduct pre- and post-acceptance inspections of all installations and designs.

Perform punch walk verifications, identifying and documenting issues with installations, including shelters, outside cabinets, cabling/coax, and tower equipment null
