Quality Tune Automotive Mechanic (Auto Mechanic) in Anchorage, Alaska
Automotive mechanic position. Proficient in engine and transmission replacement. Diagnostic skills are a plus but not required as we have on hand diagnostic technicians. Knowledge of domestic and Asian vehicle repair. The ideal applicant is someone who can remove and replace parts efficiently. Job duties include but not limited to replacing head gaskets, engines, transmissions, steering rack and pinion, brake components and more. Knowledge of differential rebuilding is a plus, the right applicant will be trained in such procedures if not already. Further training will be provided if necessary to further/ develop skills in computer programming, electrical diagnostics and engine performance diagnostics. While technical knowledge is necessary to do this job it is equally important to have and maintain proper workplace etiquette.
