Job Description
A sheet metal fabrication company is seeking a skilled Press Break Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various press brake machines to bend, punch, form, shape, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal. This role involves reading and interpreting job orders and blueprints, maintaining machinery, and ensuring the quality of finished products.
Responsibilities
Operate AccurPress 710010 Brake, AccurPress 7608 Brake 2, GASPIRIINI PSG 200 Synchro, the person APHS compact, and WYSON.
Read, interpret, and follow job orders and blueprints.
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, punch, form, shape, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and protractors to confirm specifications and check the quality of finished pieces.
Maintain and clean machinery before and after each shift.
Adjust machine settings to control speed, material feed, and path of the cut.
Inspect finished products for compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
Follow all safety guidelines and wear necessary protective equipment.
Report any problems or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to use precision measuring tools.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with CNC press brake machines.
Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
Basic computer skills for machine programming.

Work Environment
This position primarily operates in a machine shop or industrial environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, face shields, and protective clothing is mandatory. The role may require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy materials, and performing repetitive tasks. Shift work or overtime may be required to meet project deadlines or customer demands. Standard work hours are Monday-Friday from 6 am – 2:30 pm, with potential for overtime and occasional Saturday work as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Anaheim, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
Competitive hourly wage ($20-$25 per hour, depending on experience).
