Position Summary

As the Sr. Director, EMEA Supply Chain, you will be responsible for leadership and oversight of the entire supply chain operation for our EMEA region. In close collaboration with global Supply Chain, your team and the cross-functional partners, you will ensure the supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the business’ objectives and customers' satisfaction. You will also develop and lead a multi-year EMEA journey to growth, expanding our market presence and optimizing our logistics network in the region, taking input and inspiration from diverse industries, and global, regional and macro climates. You will also be accountable for creating a road map strategy that offers innovation, quality, cost effectiveness, speed, sustainability, and benefits to support the global business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate and execute a long range supply chain strategy and roadmap for region, that supports global brand strategic vision and budget in alignment with the corporate goals.

  • Manage and optimize the supply chain process, ensuring quality, speed, and cost efficiency

  • Lead development and implementation of initiatives that advance our supply chain capabilities delivering speed, flexibility and innovation and position Under Armour’s EMEA supply chain to be best in class

  • Build and empower a team that drives results fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and consistent with Under Armour values

  • Partner across the value chain, internally and externally, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with 3PL’s, vendors, and customers, negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

  • Develop and maintain cross functional relationships within our EMEA team, Global Supply Chain team and Under Armour’s supporting cross functional teams

  • Network across industry boundaries to evaluate best practices and unlock competitive advantages in process and strategies

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, using data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices

  • Implement and leverage cutting-edge MHE technologies and systems, such as ERP, cloud computing, and big data analytics, to enhance supply chain visibility and control

  • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks and disruptions, developing contingency plans and ensuring business continuity

  • Work closely with the managing director of region and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing and finance to support, distributor partnerships, new product launches, promotions, and demand planning

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the industry, as well as the global supply chain environment, and adapt accordingly

  • Management of the logistics supply chain including but not limited to Distribution, Transportation, Inventory Management & Allocation, Analytics, Account Management and Continuous improvement

  • Oversee sustainability and circularity initiatives in region meeting Corporate and Brand objectives timelines

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Proficient in supply chain management software, such as ERP, SCM, WMS, WES, LMS, & TMS as well as Microsoft Office applications

  • Knowledge of supply chain management best practices, such as lean six sigma, and agile methodologies

  • Experience in managing supply chain operations in the EMEA region, with an understanding of local market dynamics and regulations

  • Collaborative and transformational leadership skills with proven ability to coach, develop and inspire a team for success and growth A sincere and contagious passion to take the brand to new levels

  • Knowledge of trade policies and legislative action

  • Access to an extensive network of contacts and relationships

  • Ability to drive projects to successful completion

  • Comfortable with all levels and able to navigate within the organization

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in the Sporting Goods or Apparel & Footwear industry

  • 8+ years of (senior) leadership experience, with a strong track record of successfully coaching and developing an international, diverse team

  • Proficiency in working in a matrix environment and building highly effective working relationships across a multitude of stakeholders, influence behavior, and manage successful change

  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex global supply chains, delivering results and driving growth

  • Network Design, as well launching new Distribution Centers experience is required

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and influence teams and stakeholders

  • Disruptive thinking & Leadership capabilities to drive change and forward movement of business

Other Requirements

  • Location : This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.

  • Return To Work Designation: 2-4 days a week in-office. The remainder of work week remote.

  • Travel : 5-10% of the year
