Amazon Software Development Engineer, EU INTech [Regulatory Fees] in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Description

The EU INTech Regulatory Fees team is looking for Software Development Engineer who is passionate about solving highly ambiguous and challenging problems at global scale. As an SDE, you will be responsible for major components of the team, you will design, develop, deliver and support a variety of software applications in collaboration with a variety of roles and partner teams around the world. You will influence technical direction, drive operational excellence best practices and maintain quality on team deliverables. You will also have the opportunity to learn from high-performing software engineering teams and mentor junior members.

Key job responsibilities

Our engineers work on various components of retail: Search, Detail Page, Cart, Checkout, Post-Purchase. We build end-to-end from idea, tech design to implementation and weblab experimentation. You will work with Sr SDEs/TPMs/PMTs and UX designers on fleshing out software requirements, design and the implementation.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience (non-internship) in professional software development

  • Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
