The Team

Within the department, the Omnichannel Product Development team drives the end to end scope from discovery, design, development, to change management, improvements and maintenance of all Omni channel and retail products (consumer & employee services and tooling). The team identifies and scopes problems aligned with the omnichannel strategy to offer solutions for an improved consumer experience and an efficient operating model.

The Omnichannel Development Team encompasses 3 teams , which each entail product management, program/project management and product operations:

  • The Digital Retail Experience team is responsible for the digital solutions & experiences in our physical in store consumer journeys.

  • The Retail Foundations team is responsible for the staff journey including the foundational systems like point of sale system, RFID technology, and store staff tooling.

  • The Omnichannel Services & Platform team, is responsible for the services and capabilities that span across our channels enabling seamless consumer journeys from online to offline.

In more detail, the Digital Retail Experience team focuses on bringing valuable & inspiring in-store digital experience for our consumers bridging online world into the physical space. The team consists of Product, Project, UX & Operations team members to deploy successfully products across Europe for Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein as well as with our different European markets.

The Position

The ‘Senior Project Manager Digital Retail Experience’ position reports into the Director Digital Retail Experience. The role is responsible for all project management activities and further product marketing and change management with the markets. Beyond the Digital Retail scope, the role will act as a project management discipline lead for the Omnichannel development team, streamlining the way of working, driving porfolio oversight and communication with markets

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and coach a team of 3 project specialists and be the project management discipline lead for the 3 product pillars in the Omnichannel Development department

  • Manage end to end projects from discovery to closure to bring maximum value towards our consumers & staff

  • Work with various stakeholders across departments & markets to manage best in class implementation, driving product marketing & change management

  • Oversee the business requirements, go-to-market approach & implementation of digital retail experience capabilities in our European markets in collaboration with product teams towards maximum added value for our business & empowerment of our staff

  • Create an aligned market communication strategy to have one voice towards markets across the 3 product pillars

  • Create cross pillars portfolio reporting, alignment for priorities & capacity planning

  • Enable feedback loops by building team expertise with store visits, super user programs, country summit/best practices sessions

  • Create working groups for cross-pillars journeys to consolidate knowledge, effort & streamline communication

  • Enable training capabilities for all project managers & specialists around product marketing & change management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience within the Retail industry

  • Experienced in building teams with focus on people development, coaching and growing talent

  • Goal oriented, flexible and enthusiastic

  • Experience with projects impacting all levels of the organization, as well as proven use of product marketing & change management

  • Process driven mindset, able to contribute to objectives and achieve success by utilizing current processes or finding new methods to enhance efficiency and positive results

  • Strong team player, ability to network and gain cooperation to work productively with others within the head office, local office departments/individuals, store teams and vendors where necessary
