In the highly competitive world of sports, it's critical to use effective media and advertising strategies to communicate offerings to a mass audience. Media Solutions provides essential services to clients, helping them to measure, analyse, and interpret the effectiveness of their advertising and investments, and to make sound economic decisions.
As a Media Project Manager, you'll use Nielsen Sports analysis to advise clients on the exposure of their brands or platforms in media and to identify areas for improvement. You'll work closely with your clients to understand their specific needs and requirements and use this information to create detailed analyses, combining data from different sources in the Nielsen Sports product portfolio.
In addition to your analytical skills, you'll have excellent communication and presentation skills, and be able to turn your analysis results into compelling stories that deliver meaningful insights and added value to our clients. You'll also have the ability to collaborate with other Solutions groups, Revenue and Sales Enablement teams to drive growth initiatives
Responsibilities
Building strong relationships with our Benelux & French clients whilst providing comprehensive client service
Act as a liaison, managing programs, products and clients projects and internally coordinating with diverse media services to offer clients solutions.
Understanding our clients' challenges and developing appropriate solutions to meet their needs
Analysing information and presenting findings to clients independently or in collaboration with other associates
Mastering Nielsen Sports tools and the product portfolio, continuously expanding knowledge on clients, the sports business landscape, media and advertising industry
Mastering project planning tools to implement and track your projects, such as the Nielsen internal specification systems, project management, capacity planning tools, and other systems
Collaborating with media operations teams at Nielsen Sports to align client projects and meet service-level agreements
Managing reactive/inbound sales support, identifying solutions in collaboration with the revenue team
Collaborating on projects with other solutions groups, where applicable
Training and coaching junior team members to enhance their skills
Actively contributing to business process improvement of existing media solutions and products, as well as the development of new products and services
Monitoring the profitability of programs and projects and ensuring the profitability of your projects
Taking responsibility for a Nielsen Sports product/program under supervision and managing projects/programs of any complexity
Providing scope, cost calculations, and feasibility checks for projects of any complexity
Mentoring and supervision of new team members
Overall, you will work closely with clients, revenue teams, and media operations teams to drive business growth, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain profitability. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and products by adopting the automation of our processes and services.
Skills & Compentencies
Fluent in Dutch
An analytical mindset and an ability to identify client needs
Knowledge and prior experience in media and sponsorship is ideal; at least 2-3 years media/sports industry experience.
Digitally literate, a driver for automation and standardisation
Proven ability maintaining an internal and external network; coordinating ongoing client projects
Active learner; an ability to expand your knowledge of client business issues and needs, Nielsen Sports products, and the media and advertising industry!
