Philips Internship Consumer Care & Engagement (Contact Center, Social, Web) in Amsterdam, Netherlands


Start date: November 15th, 2021 (negotiable).

Duration: 6 months

This internship assignment requires a 32 to 40 hours per week presence.

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Work in Europe Consumer Care team consisting of highly motivated professionals with a focus on Consumer Engagement and Consumer Experience improvement.

You are responsible for:

  • Prepare specific overviews based on the current market processes and procedures, consumer trends and benchmarking.

  • Analyze Consumer Engagement data and propose improvement activities by connecting the dots.

  • Engage with Consumer Care teams and build internal communication plans and content.

You are a part of:

The newly created Consumer Care Team dedicated of Philips Domestic Appliances. We are a multi-cultural, globally operating internal consultant team with winning spirit and open mind, truly believing in continuous improvement, lean, strategic planning and best practice sharing as the road to make our customers successful.

The team supports measuring and improving the Consumer experience in the Contact Center, on social platforms and on our support web. Also, contributing to generating essential voice of the consumer (VOC) insights and driving improvement actions.

You will be working at our head office in Amsterdam.

Due to the current COVID19 situation, we do support you working from home. Depending the rules and conditions as provided by our Philips Management, we might be able to grand you visit our offices.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Currently studying towards a Bachelor/Master in Business Administration, Marketing or related field

  • Fluent in oral and written English

  • Ability to initiate, build and develop relationships with colleagues and teams.

  • Proactive and result driven.

  • Good analytical skills, creative spirit and an eye for details.

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Hands-on and project driven mentality, positive mindset and ambitious

  • Fluent in oral and written English
