Director of Quality and Benchmarking

About the role

As the Director of Quality and Benchmarking, you will play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing the integrity and reliability of our benchmarking processes and market commentaries. Your mission is to safeguard the trust in our published indices by minimizing risks and maximizing confidence among our stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leadership in Quality Management: Establish and oversee a comprehensive quality management framework that ensures our benchmarks reflect true market values, thereby reinforcing stakeholder confidence;

• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with market authorities, internal teams, and external service providers to align our processes with regulatory expectations and to ensure a swift response to any inquiries or challenges;

• Audit and Compliance Oversight: Lead both internal and external audits, ensuring our practices meet the strictest regulatory standards. You'll also be directly reporting to the executive board on regulatory compliance matters;

• Innovative Problem Solving: Collaborate with various partners to devise solutions that meet our business needs while staying ahead of market expectations and regulatory requirements;

• Education and Improvement: Develop and deliver training programs aimed at elevating the quality of our benchmarks and the processes that produce them.

  Who You Are

• A visionary leader with a knack for communication across all levels of an organization;

• Experienced in navigating the complexities of commodities markets and regulatory environments;

• Adept at conducting and managing audits, with a solid background in risk assessment and control processes;

• Independently capable of interacting with market authorities, backed by a supportive legal and compliance framework;

• Motivated to drive change and inspire your team towards continuous improvement.

  Experience

• Have proven experience in market reporting, risk management, or a related field;

• Be familiar with contract law or regulatory compliance is highly advantageous;

• Have a track record of implementing effective control processes and achieving regulatory compliance.
