Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Kuehne + Nagel is the market leader for airfreight in the Netherlands. From 4 locations in and around Schiphol Airport, a team of around 500 people work hard around the clock to import and export an international flow of goods. We are looking for a motivated Customer Care Specialist to join the Air Logistics division.

Your Role

In this role you will be responsible for professional communication with our customers to ensure the timely, accurate and efficient handling of the entire shipment process for the Customer Care department. Together with your colleagues in the Import department, you will ensure that all import shipments from a wide range of customers and shipment types are transported via air freight.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales, Control Tower, and Operational teams to enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and reactivation.

  • Monitor operational flows closely to meet customer requirements and provide proactive advisory in case of potential issues.

  • Participate in customer calls to review shipment statuses.

  • Assist in customer onboarding following established procedures, ensuring seamless integration of customer requirements into KN systems alongside initial orders.

  • Partner with the Revenue Care Center to ensure billing accuracy and resolve any billing challenges or disputes.

  • Document, resolve, and analyse complaints and feedback, identifying, addressing root causes.

  • Prepare, review, and refine customer reports to effectively communicate operational metrics and customer insights.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • You have at least 2 work experience in a similar position in an air cargo/forwarding environment;

  • Air-Logistics-related educational background would be an asset;

  • Experience with the MS-Office package;

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written;

  • Stress-resistance, customer-orientation and ability to multitask;

  • Excellent command of the English language.
