This includes managing budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Like other managers, the Senior Project Manager is also responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization’s business goals. Essential Functions•Identify development opportunities within Uniland’s existing and future markets and initiate a primary due diligence process to determine feasibility. •Develop and manage real estate development project plans including, but not limited to, asset acquisition, due diligence, coordination of approvals and entitlements, schematic and design development, construction, financing, preparation of market and financial analysis, schedules, and budgets.•Coordinate and manage project teams including internal and external partners and stakeholders.•Manage project resources, including budget allocation, procurement, and staffing requirements.•Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.•Manage project risks and develop contingency plans.•Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.•Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.•Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks.•Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.•Manage project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and handover to clients or internal construction or property management teams.Other Duties•Develop a strong knowledge of company real-estate assets and recommend ways to further exploit the values embedded in company-owned properties.•Establish and maintain relationships with other real estate professionals including real estate brokers, community and government leaders, investment, and mortgage banking personnel.•Maintain active community involvement in those communities in which Uniland’s properties are located.•Stay updated on market research, industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting commercial real estate development.•Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.•Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory Duties•Provides leadership and direction to direct reports, including recruitment, training, and performance management. •Sets clear expectations, goals, and priorities for team members and monitor their progress towards achieving them. •Conducts regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to provide feedback, support their professional development, and address any performance issues. •Delegates tasks and responsibilities effectively, balancing workload and ensuring optimal utilization of team resources. •Fosters a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication, idea sharing, and teamwork. •Mentors and coach team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and career growth within the company. •Leads by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the organization's values and culture. •Handles escalated issues or conflicts within the team, providing guidance and facilitating resolution in a timely and effective manner. •Collaborates with other departmental managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment of department initiatives with broader organizational goals and objectives. •Prepares performance evaluation documentation; reviews and conducts performance evaluation meetings. •Reviews and approves associate’s timecards and manages time off requests. Education & Experience•Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, required (Masters’s degree preferred).•PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred but not required.•A minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in project management within the commercial real estate industry, with increasing levels of responsibility and scope.•Ability to conduct a quantitative analysis using real estate finance calculations required (e.g. discounted cash flow, net present value, return on investment, debt service, and amortization schedules).Knowledge, Skills & Abilities•Understanding of financial analysis and feasibility studies related to real estate development projects.•Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and compliance requirements as it pertains to commercial and real estate development.•Knowledge of real estate development process, including, for example, zoning, entitlements, and permitting.•Strong project management skills, including in-depth knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, and the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple projects and initiatives within established timelines and budgets.•Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to solve related challenges and optimize processes and practices. •Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.•Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities to address complex project challenges and deliver innovative solutions, with the ability to align development strategies and initiatives with organizational goals and priorities and anticipate future development needs and opportunities.•Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. •Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.•Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite. Minimum Salary: 105000 Maximum Salary: 140000 Salary Unit: Yearly
