AMERY HOSPITAL & CLINIC Medical Laboratory Technician Medical in AMERY, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Amery Hospital & Clinic is looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) to join the team. As a MLT/MT, you will perform and evaluate routing and complex laboratory analysis in support of the medical staff to ensure positive patient outcomes; follow all laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records of patient results; conduct oversight of the quality control and maintenance needed for the area/instruments, and ensure that any deviations are followed up on and documented. Work Schedule: Day time hours with weekend and holiday rotation Required Qualifications: Associate degree in medical technology from an accredited program and be eligible to sit for ASCP or NCA or AMT registry. Preferred Qualifications: Prefer minimum of 1 year experience in a clinic or hospital laboratory; demonstrated keyboarding skill and computer knowledge; previous training and/or usage of EPIC computer system a plus.
