Under the direction of the Production Lead, the Production Operator II will melt liquor as required by the operation, Proper loading and unloading of the products on trucks as required by the operation of the plant.

Key responsibilities include:

● Ensure cleanliness and optimum condition of the equipment before starting. Otherwise, notify the Shift Leader.

● Ensure that there are no differences between the material used and that requested to produce.

● Perform the crushing and melting of liquor in the crusher.

● Fulfill the current daily target for your department.

● Check and supply the tanks of emulsifiers and milk fat.

● Transfer Liquor from Crusher to the designated storage tanks.

● Perform checks on the magnets and filters.

● Review levels of tanks.

● Perform cleaning of liquor filters.

● Keep your area clean.

● Confirm in the system the liquor that is melting.

● Carry out the correct loading of the appropriate product in the corresponding trucks.

● Validate loading/unloading program.

● Take product samples for quality certificates.

● Handover the correct documents to drivers.

● Return product from trucks. (If applicable.)

● Follow priorities set up by the Leader.

● Use of rework melter.

● Turn off equipment when they are not in operation.

● Promote a safe and inclusive work environment.

● Notify the leader in charge of any anomaly that is outside the procedure.

● Respect the safety rules and take care of yourself and your colleagues respecting and following the

safety procedures in force in the company.

● Report unsafe acts and conditions.

● Participate in mandatory training sessions.

● Commit to fulfill the expectations of quality and service of the clients, as well as the current regulatory

compliance applicable to the food industry.

● Responsible for reporting any situation of potential or real danger to your superior and the Quality

department.

● Keep the area, tools and equipment in your care clean and tidy.

● Firmly follow the GMP’s.

About you:

● High school diploma or equivalency.

● Minimum 2 year of production manufacturing experience.

● Minimum 1 year of forklift driving experience.

● Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

● Ability to operate material handling equipment.

● Good organization, math, written and oral communication, detail orientated, interpersonal skills.

● Self-motivated, must work autonomously with a minimum of supervision.

● Must be able to adhere to all GMP and food safety rules.

● Detail & results oriented.

● Ability to lift at least 25 Kg (50 Lbs.)

● Available for overtime when required.

● Available to work on the weekends.

required.

Position is expected to start at $21+/Hr
