As our Electric Automation Instrumentation Technician you will provide the plant with well-maintained production equipment at all times by performing repairs and preventative maintenance on automation instrumentation equipment.
Position Related Duties and Key Responsibilities
Diagnose problems when machinery malfunctions, conduct electrical repairs (i.e., wiring), complete work orders, monitor production equipment.
Maintain all the Process Control systems, calibrate all critical control equipment and documents finding, evaluate PLC equipment, program and integrate the PLC systems. Program and integrate the Automation systems.
Set up and implement preventive maintenance procedure for process control systems (PLC, Identify areas to be improved in the process systems makes recommendations and implement approved changes)
Backup SCADA, wastewater, PLC and variable frequency drive systems. Order Allen-Bradley parts.
Train Maintenance personnel (PLC and Electronic equipment). Complete calibration, project and equipment status reports
Work closely with the contractors on new electrical and electronic installations.
Provide technical expertise on project teams.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Education and Eligibility Requirements
Electrical and mechanical training for industrial environment and 2 to 3 years of experience.
Ability to communicate and comprehend specifics regarding equipment problems.
Computer skills for ordering parts and troubleshooting.
Ability to read, write and comprehend equipment manuals, safety regulations, and operating instructions.
Ability to complete necessary reports.
Will be required to take and pass Ramsay Mechanical Assessment test.
Additional trade courses are preferred.
Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Must be able to climb, bend, reach and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.).
Body agility (occasional climbing, kneeling, reaching).
Walking and standing on plant production floor for extended periods of time.
Technical Skills
Ability to read blueprints and drawings
Knowledge of a variety of hand, power, and machine tools.

Pay Range:$92,378 - $124,982
