System One Material Coordinator / Scheduler in Amarillo, Texas
System One is actively seeking a Material Coordinator position for a long-term contract position located in Amarillo, TX.
Material Coordinator will coordinate for the field crews for substation’s operations and maintenance. Blend of operations and maintenance work, preventative maintenance program maintaining those along with substations field engineering capital work.
Material Coordinator Responsibilities:
Coordinating day to day work, ordering materials, checking on the status of materials, dispatching work for the day, insuring outages are in place for upcoming work that they need outages for, working with Ops managers to ensure that schedules look good.
Start of the day, have POD with field manager, email/text correspondence, creating call out workorder, planning out what upcoming weeks are going to be, changing dates, PR request for ordering materials, handle request from other department as they come in throughout the day
Working with 4 people, supporting about 12 districts, working directly with 4 Ops managers
Material Coordinator Responsibilities:
Operational experience
Microsoft Suite experience
3 years of experience with some type of operational experience
High school diploma or GED
SAP experience, experiencing with scheduling or project managers tools (NICE TO HAVE)
Contract Duration: 12-Motnhs
Project Location: Amarillo, TX
Hourly Pay Rate: $22.50/hr.
Schedule: Monday and Friday (REMOTE) Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (ONSITE)
