CARNEGIE EQUIPMENT Outside Sales Associate in Altoona, Pennsylvania
The outside sales associate position is responsible for generating sales by building relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the buying cycle to make a purchase.
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain sales pipeline; develop relationships with customers/potential customers within our target market.
Manage customer base ensuring sales and profit objectives are achieved.
Identify and provide appropriate solutions for each customer's specific need.
Regularly calling on existing accounts.
Effectively manage time and resources to attain results.
Determine pricing for quotes and monitor credit term compliance.
Conducts sales presentations to end users and/or key decision makers.
Ability to answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses.
Provide product information and practical training to customers' personnel if needed.
Travel as needed to meet with customers; Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, company meetings, etc.
Communicate with purchasing and operations teams to meet customer-requested delivery dates. Troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process.

Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings and ongoing training sessions.
Review & analyze daily, weekly, monthly reports such as, sales/gross profit report, account variance reports and others as identified.
Perform administrative duties, such as preparing weekly call plan and outcomes, processing credits and pick-up requests, preparing price quotes.
Provides quality service by following organization standards.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
