Junior Estimator

The Junior Estimator will perform takeoffs, obtain material and subcontractor quotes, and complete estimates, under the supervision of other experienced estimators.

Job Type : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt

Pay : Competitive, Hourly

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Perform takeoffs of construction plans.

  • Obtain material and subcontractor quotes for various vendors.

  • Maintain records for estimates on a share point platform.

  • Finalize and complete estimates under the supervision of other experienced estimators.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must have strong computer skills including MS Office, Adobe, and Outlook.

  • Highly organized and able to multitask and prioritize tasks.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to be resourceful and solve issues.

  • Must be willing to learn, grow, and take direction.

Education & Experience

  • 1+ year of most recent experience in a similar role preferred.

Pre-Screen:

  • Upon offer, employees may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

License & Certifications:

  • Driver's License preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Rare: (less than 10%): walking, kneeling, squatting, crawling, seeing distance, climbing on/off a truck, climbing, lifting over 10-50 lbs., depth perception, color vision, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, balancing,lifting upto 10 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs.
